On April 8, 2026, the 51.9kWh battery pack for the B216-G2 project—supported by ANWHA with full-line equipment and technical services—successfully rolled off the production line at the Powertrain Workshop of CHANGAN Automobile's Rayong Plant in Thailand. This milestone marks the full commissioning of the battery pack production line, achieving the phase goal ahead of schedule and pressing the "accelerator" toward official mass production.

As a key strategic partner to CHANGAN Automobile, ANWHA provided the complete battery pack production line for this project, covering everything from module assembly to full PACK rollout, and was deeply involved in on-site commissioning and process optimization. The joint teams from both sides worked in close coordination and synergy to ensure the successful delivery of the first offline pack.

To align with the vehicle launch timeline, the project schedule was proactively compressed by two months. Starting from New Year's Day 2026, the ANWHA and CHANGAN teams adopted a "start as we mean to go on" approach, driving equipment delivery, installation, and commissioning at full speed. By March 20, the team had shifted to a two-shift continuous operation model. During the critical phase, the ANWHA technical team remained on the front lines, working side by side with CHANGAN's process engineering team, and successfully streamlined the entire production chain—from module assembly to full pack rollout—in just 18 days. Meanwhile, ANWHA collaborated closely with Thai staff at the Rayong Plant throughout the installation and commissioning processes, ensuring efficient coordination that contributed significantly to the smooth rollout of the first pack.

The offline rollout of the first pack at the Rayong Plant marks not only a significant milestone but also a new starting point. ANWHA remains fully committed to supporting CHANGAN's subsequent production ramp-up and global expansion, helping our customer move forward steadily on its "Everlasting" strategic journey.
